connecting to a website to download an image for use as a skin

So i'm working on decorations for my levels, and going along with the theme of the rest of the game, I'd like to have a series of picture frames on the walls, but be able to connect to the internet, and download an image to then use as the "art work" that is on the wall. I found a link that returns random royalty free artwork, which is perfect. However the manual shows an ftp command but apparently it's only available in the professional edition of A8. Would there be away to do this without having to upgrade?

I was thinking about writing some c++ to do it for me, but I don't think having a separate program just to grab textures would work to well should this project ever get released. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
