Hi there ,
I'm using a MDL model as my terrain , the problem is that the entities walking on top of it don't have shadows , so is there a way to display the shadows or I have to use shaders ?

With the new shadow system it should work. You will have to check "cast" of the MDL-terrain.

If you want to use stencil shadows, set this at the begining of your script;
var shadow_stencil = on;

Also in the entitys action use this;
my.shadow = on;
my.cast = off;

Note, setting cast to on disables stencil shadows on the entity (self shadows).

Not two, not one.

In wed, right click on the entity, go to properties and check the "shadow" box.

However, it is much better if you can "paint" the shadows onto the entity or
terrain texture of non animated things instead of using realtime shadows. This
is because many realtime shadows will really hurt performance.

Hi ,
I'm using the stencil shadow now , but I got some problems , sometimes the shadows appears in a wrong way in certain camera positions , other time , when the model is doing animation and then stops , his shadow continue the animation for a while then stops
So , any one know things about It ?
