i downloaded the demo of sphere and the shadercollection from au.conitec.com

when i start sphere i get a black screen and it says sp_devicereset not foun in dll. when i start the shadercollection it says render backbuffer not found in dll.

I have a6.31 com

I think you have to update the directx version. In the Sphere demo files its included that upgrade i believe.

Actually its a file called D3DXDLLJune26.zip in the Sphere demo directory that must be installed. I had those errors too . After installing the new dll, the problems disappeared .

Just delete the 'render_backbuffer' dllfunction from the script. If you have A6.40 then you have to remove the 'rotate' function as well. It done that and it works for me

BTW, the Sphere 'outside' level doesn't work for me, but the inside one does.

reinstalling directx didnt worked and there is no render_backbuffer dll function in my script Oo not in the mainscript and not in the other...

Myabe you didnt read the Sphere manual.. its shows how to use custom shaders for sphere models.
