Is it possible to get Blender levels or Wings3d levels into Wed so they can be compiled like blocks? I can't find any exporters so far. Blocks are way too hard to work with I think.

I dont think it can be converted to a wmb but I could be wrong.

However you can use models for your levels instead.

Blender can export directly to mdl using ventilators export script.... Just do a search here for it.

milkshape can convert 3ds/obj geo to *,map, a format which can be used for blocks. but i was really disappointed with the ms3d map exporter, it completely messed up the scene and didn't export textures at all.
why not take models?

So how do you make a model like a block, or so it does polygon collision and doesn't have strange face distortions close up? Should I ask that question in the scripts section?

Do a search for poly/polygon collision ect... I beleive locoweed has a starter kit on his site.

Youd be surprised at the amount of times a question you might have has been asked by another user and ussually doing a search will result in faster and more answers then youll get by asking first... alot of the times the answer will be just like mine... If all else fails ask away just better in my opinion to try searching for it first.

Try using any terms you think may be related also use the advanced search tips... Alot of times it will weed out stuff that isnt.

In this case I suggest searching for collision and locoweed as the author. also remember to allways set the date back as far as it can go... even old threads can have answers for todays questions

ok well I did that for ya but still good tips I think.... Oh and if you think you know where it would be at in the forums. IE looking for help with models be sure to select the model forum on the left side.

Heres what I came back with searching for collision with locoweed as the user name.
Search results.

Dont take me the wrong way. Im not trying to stop you from asking question just trying to help you find the answers faster

As to the other part of the question not really sure Im following what your asking.
