Can I add a shader to a panel or a bitmap then add the bitmap to a panel?

There is a small problem with this: your panels do not belong to a scene.
No scene means no lights are affecting your bitmaps.

What kind of shader do you want to apply to your panel?

A multitexture shader, I can edit it from my multitexture terrain shader.
If it is possible, can you give me a small example, please.

PS: Thanks for replying.

The reason for multitexture terrain shaders is that you can create very large graphics with very detailed zones without creating one very large tga file for the whole terrain.

But I guess your panel would be 1024x768 in size. In this case you would not need this multitexture shader - you can modify the texture directly by script if you need to. And you would do this simply once. While your shader does this once per frame!

I need to experiment something, I need to make a minimap without making a view and placing it high. It can have unlimited possibilities, so I need to add a shader to a bmap.
