I don't know if I've ever posted screens from something I was working on, but well, here's something.

This game is actually going to focus on buildings, a lot... but a lot of the buildings aren't done yet so... It's a resource-management sim set in the American west during the Civil War. Basically, you gather resources, use them to build buildings, which you can use to process resources into something else, to build more advanced buildings, sort of SimHomesteader type activity.

Anyway, the player's claim is the central focus of the game, I think it's looking pretty good (except there are no rocks yet). The trees and bushes are from terminal26.com, but I added fall and winter skins for each.

Oh, the coordinates in the right corner are obviously not going to be in the final game.

It looks very nice with a good atmosphere in it!
So this guy has to build up a city on his own, or will
there be any other npcs who support him?
But imagine building a house in realtime is a very cool idea.
Do you have any videos of the movement and behaviour?

Hopely when I get home, the picture is visible

ah now i can see it (with opera).

well it really looks good allready (besides the terrain texture, its way too undetailed).

but could you show more of the game part? like building up houses, etc ^^.

And whats the framerate?
