I know real horses which are more "fat". The skin of horses is realy impressing. It looks so smooth. Good model.

I just went out and made a pic to show you the proportions of the leg:

1: to short
2: to long, should be more in the middle
3: to small
4: to long
5: to long

Everything else looks very good.

wow, thank you so much!! wow, you've acctually looked at it very exactly... I'll work on that as soon as i'm done with my homework...
Micha

Edit: Ok, I'm still amazed at how much of a difference that made. Thank you so much, Slin!! I redid the hind (back?) legs, too...

I'm dead tired and going to bed now... This is not quite done, but I think it's getting pretty close. If I have time tomorrow, I might get started on animating... even though I'm dreading that more than skinning by far

I think the legs are too short, and the bases of the legs should be a bit thicker, you know, he sort of looks like he's going to fall over forwards because his legs don't come out forward far enough. The body, neck and head will all look fine if you make the legs stronger. Good job overall, though!

Hey... thanks for those comments
I've got the horse pretty much done now. I've added a skeleton (armature) in blender, and I'm ready to animate. But I've been googling mutliple times for a horse walk cycle.. i can't find a good one. What I'm looking for is a set of background images I can read into blender and use as a referance... does any of you know any good pages where I could find images like this??
Thx...
Micha
