I think you should make the chest wider(bigger)

hey young link,
I was looking at your photo and for something you did while being bored at school...not bad...

but there is alot to critize if you plan on using it as character concept sheet.
alot of the proportions are off....the arms are to big and the chest is to small..if you really want to learn some basic concept art lessons check out some video training models over at buzz 3d

http://www.3dbuzz.com/vbforum/sv_home.php

there free and the VTM's have helped me with my drawings.. they teach how to draw the basic form ...and then move on to front and side views... there worth checking out.. the art style is anime , but can be adapted for other styles

hope i didn't come off sounding to hard...not my intentions

over all the image looks good, just need to work alittle better on it

Daniel

on his arm without the accesory, the should er should be bigger, because, unless your a body builder, you shoulder is bigger than your bicep. looks good other than that tho

one thing doesn't fit.. his sword is carried in his arm :|
I hope you _do_ know how much that size sword weights?

Haha, yes i do know how much that size of sword weighs, but that is where i leave it to the players imagination. The idea is that he is very strong, which is what allows him to carry his sword on his arm... I've also fixed up his shoulder so that its bigger. thanks for the crits, keep em comming.
