In a death match who would win? Just kidding, but in all honesty I would like to know which one the community thinks is better and y.

I'd say blender. I admit, I've never tried milkshape, and so I can't really talk... but blender's all freeware... I think that's great... for such an amazing tool.

i agree with beegee, milkshapes greatest quality is its huge list of exports and imports, tho, i would still say, you'll see blender start getting more here in the future, as i think it has the ability to write your own export and import scripts. As far as modeling.... Blender is wayyyyy better, i used to use a keygened milkshape (which was wrong of me, ill admit) and it seemed nice, but once i really started using blender, you got tools like knife cuts, accurate edge extrusion, a very fluent uv mapping system, more material options, shadow baking... the list goes on.

milkshape is how MED should be,
i like that, its so true, i mean, med should be not great, but enought to make modeling fun, not such a daunting task for noobs, and good for prototyping, about the only thing MED has going for it, is i like the skinning set up
