hi all,

does anyone have tutorial on how to skin a model that has its faces turned inside (or inverted). When i try to attach a skin it doesnt cover the model at all. I have a6 extra version 6.50 and i still dont get the hang of how to skin at all. Can someone point me to a good tutorial? Thx in advance.

Just flip the normals in MED (select the triangles you wanna flip, then click the flip normal icon)

oh so i first i attach a skin and then i flip the normals? But what exactly are the normals? But when i tried to attach a skin after i build the model it didnt show it. Can u tell me how i attach a skin proberly?

i have a problem now i skinned my model (im doing a cylinder with the two ends open just to test it out with round surfaces) and loaded it in wed to see how it looks like but when i compiled it and started the engine preview and everytime when i move the camera too close to the cylinder it disappeares even with the sides open and when i move the camera back it shows up again do u know why this is and maybe know how to solve it? thx in advance.
