I have hosted at Dreamhost. Look very good for the coupons/vouchers on the web and you have the best with 90% or even more of the price for the first year. Second year just close the account and signup again. Use your own domain via domainrebels or some service, this way you never loose the domain whenever you switch hosting provider!

Remember: If you have your own domain and you are using it for private/business email also, in the case you would drop the domain and someone else takes it using the mail; they can get all your passwords to start with.

Nope, not really. If you keep your emails in your inbox online these will be erased when the host space expires and/or when the domain changes host. The person using your domain would have to know your exact email address of your old email and then still he'd probably only receive spam on it. He/she can't possibly know which acounts you ever have registered using that email address or which things you've bought using that email address.

If you're really paranoia, just don't use email adresses like admin@yourdomain.com or something too obvious like support@yourdomain.com . A very simple solution would be to use support1@yourdomain.com instead for example. If you use email addresses which are unique enough, you'll never ever never have any problems of passwords accidently being send to your 'old' email addresses. You'd need to request lost passwords anyways, so chances are EXTREMELY small,

Cheers
