Hey guys,

just a quick question, is it possible to use zbrush to create models and export them including the textures to 3dgs?

I guess u have to export it from zbrush as OBJ-File to an other modeling tool and then convert it into an 3dgs-compatible format.

The main advantage of zbrush is the high poly-count u can work with.
But in games the models have to be low-poly.
You can use your highpoly models from zbrush to calculate normalmaps which u can use in 3dgs with a shader.

cheers

I dl the zbrush demo too and it is very impressive but still pricey for me.
Anyway, I can model something with it ..the problem is: can we use a sort of normal mapping in a lower poly model made with Zb too ( one with out brush modification and with a lower subdivision).
Again
the combination of the normal map from the high detailed model + the lowpoly version may be rigged and animated?
