texturing problem #105949

hi,

when i made a cylinder and skinned it which worked without problems. But there is always a line right at the middle of the cylinder like on the picture here:

does anyone know how to fix this? thx in advance

Check if your skin its seamless. If not you need to make it so in order to repeat seamless along the mesh. Or your uv map is messed up.

well i actually just applied a simple texture to my cylinder how do i get that texture seamless?

Um...if you have Photoshop you can apply the "Offset" filter and then enter the width and height as half of the picture and change the type to "wrap around" then just use the clone tool to smooth the visible seams, then reverse the offset, and you have a seamless texture. If you need more help on this I could reexplain it or you can look on the internet for help, thats how I found it out
