Sorry but it's years now , any date for a possible beta release for the shaders
library/editor ?

Look into the templates directory template_6, there's a file called mtlFX.wdl that's the material effects library. It already has great shaders and if I understand correctly this library is going to be expanded in the future.

The shader editor was available to the private beta testers a while ago, version 0.1 if I remember correctly. Dunno what happened to it ...

The whole "when it's finished" answer is so GAY. Has become a favorite amongst game developers lately , and apparently now with software developers as well.

Would you prefer an estimated date and a crossing of that line with a delay of several months? "When its finished" is a grant for quality, in most cases. You are stupid if you say so.

"When it's finished" is an honest (if not very useful) answer.

I think it is better than "In two weeks"* which is the old software developer answer which means "I don't know right now, let me make something up".
