I had to double check the game to see if the baby is really freaky
I had a good laugh reading all your replies, cause I never meant it
to be freaky..LOL...nah trust me the baby is not at all freaky in game !
And it doesnt really have a "stare to death" Frankenstein look.
I think its just because of a still snapshot, but ingame he is quite
cute and interactive !
Thanks to you all for the feedback...The game is
kind of "bust a move + brick" style game..but not exactly that way too..
demo will be coming in a few weeks n I'll describe more then...for now
I can say the gameplay is quite addictive

I like good 'views' because they have no 'strings' attached..

i like the screens!

i have to say the arguments against exploitation of infants are quiet funny!

i think using a baby as main character is an innovative idea..and the fact that it suits the target audience (65% woman) at the same time is simply genius!
from a professional point of view - of course!

The baby aside, however, this looks like a solid and fun puzzlegame. I like the HUD (although I'm not sure if the levelnumber (hang on, Level Onehundredandaone?**) is correctly aligned). Its nice, its clean, its exactly the right font. Maybe you should change the angle of the square at the bottom-right. And whats with the face on the top-left?

I personally felt that the level numbers inside the angular square look cool actually, it looks unconventional and hence fun!! well done..

The baby (which is still scary, honestly) should react more to the gameplay, and I don't mean it in the Frankenstein-baby-way. Right now, it seems to stare at the player the whole time (safe for the Frankenstein-baby-parts), which, again, makes me feel a little uncomfortable. It's like the stare of death, only its wearing diapers. Instead, the head might look at the puzzle. You could also show the progress the player makes: Baby starts crawling and ends up running (or, well, flying).

The baby's expressions aren't scary according to me. Well ya he shouldn't be staring all the time at u.. but then again when I'm playing with full attention, I would definitely be concentrating on the stars n I'm also assuming the baby jumps n sleeps n has moments like these now n then. So it is fine really..

Right now, I'm wondering who exactly is your target group. If I were you, I'd make the baby an optional character (but not the standard-character). It wouldn't be "baby game" anymore, but I suppose you could still put "includes a baby as playable character" somewhere on the box.

Now thats one thing I disapprove completely. Cos the idea is unique n very enchanting.. I would love to play a game with the baby as a central character. I dont know about the target audience and all, but hardly any males in there am guessing But it would bring the child out in me! This is one experience i would love to have! Way to go zazang!!

The game looks promising , but the baby thing is crazy , change the baby to a bear or a duck or something and you should be fine.

The best is you show the Game to some women,
and insert next to the baby some other characters
(Dragon, Duck, Cat, whatever...)

This is still the best method so see how the female mind reacts to it.

"This screenshot freaks me out. Its scary. It's like Baby Frankenstein or something."

ahahahaaaaa hhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
you made my day Error014
ahahhaaaa

Indeed the baby, is scary, and is body is too adult compared to it's head size.

It's far from a very good platform game were a baby crushed the ennemies by jumping on them like mario but iwth it's head.

you should use a manga baby , not hospital looking baby
and why not put some dresses on him(prehistoric one or waht you want),
not a baby just out of a clinic.

I can assure you lot of guys will shut down your game at first look
And mothers playing video games : not a lot ,
and if it's a girl game target , some pop dancing girl with cool
wears will have lot more impact than a baby.

Well it's your choice.

Thanks Error104 for this great moment of humour

I think he looks CUTE!

(sorry... I just had to say this ...)
yeah... granted, the face kinda reminds me of a croaking toad.
But it's a cute toad...
