I was just wondering, what the heck is this used for?



I click the folder icon and it opens a box that lists the other models in the level.

For attaching two models/sprites together...

Like if you wanted to attach a staff to the warlock...

and you can attach some action to the attached entity;

Yes, you only have to choose the parent model and attach an action to the child model, so that the child model follows the parent model. Only thing you have to adjust is the origin position of the parent and the child, they must be the same for simple movement.

You guys are my new best friends. I just so happen to have a boss that is split up into several pieces and instead of ent_creating them, I can use parent.

thanks for asking that question. i always wondered what it was for too,lol. so let me understand this, i have a model with plbiped behavior, and i have his staff, and want to add the fire behavior, like a flaming staff as it's action, and attach it to my warlock model, and both models can have an action, and can be used as long as they are in unison?
