i am thinking of selling some of the meshs i am currently makeing for a level i`m working on, they are low poly but i dunno if they are good enough to sell, after all there are some very nice low poly models out there. so i was hopeing for some advice from the users here, the pic below is a timber house at 126 polys, so in truth would you purchase this model?
if the crits are good i`ll post a few other pics of the houses i have made for the level and see what you think.

It is not a bad model. What is the skin size? The only problem is that it would not take long to duplicate it, so it would be hard to justify paying much for it. You could probably charge more if you had a more detailed house, and this model is the second level of detail.

To sell it, it should have more details of a real house. Right know I can see too much how it was made. I can see all the Photopaint effects like emboss on the window frames for example. I can also see how that the house is skinned at the walk boards because the skin is simply wrapped around. The house shouldn´t look skinned. Because houses don´t look skinned.

And last but not least a single house is not very useful, because using only one house in a game is not very creative. In this case it´s less work for me to make a new house and make variations of the material I have instead of buying a house where I don´t have the materials, and to rework stuff to make my other houses fit to the bought house.

it would be good if this was like a 2nd or 3rd stage lod, but to sell it you really need more geometric detail, if you want to sell it, keep this one, make one with a little more detail, and one with a lot mored detail, and sell it as a pack with lod replicas.

The mesh seems to be ok. The texture not.

The orientation of the textures is in most cases wrong.
The edges of the poles are black or highlighted.
Makes it look like a plastic model. (If that's your ambition it's well made)

ok guys cheers for your comments, as this is for a raceing level i was not to worried about detail, i`ll do a few more detailed ones and ask for your comments on those once done.

The houses look good to me.
