With such light and shiny where are the shadows?
Dont forget it, shadows (soft?) are very important to give a real look to your scenes. If you intend to use multi-texturing terrains youŽd better start think how to implement shadows.
Looks promising anyway.

the fps, no matter what direction or object you look at, was 36. the game, so far, ran suprisingly smooth. no hickups. no drops in frame rate. with all that grass youd think id have some lagg. but no.
and that smaller rock was too shiny. i was thinking about just getting rid of the small rock. the big rocks look amazing. the ground is really too light. so im gonna use the same texture just darker(plus the dynamic light i put in affects the terrain, which is what i used for the ground).

lol, the polised stone looks like the [censored] of a giant dog ^^
furthermore, i don't like the helicopter, it does not fit in the very realistic environment, improve esp. the skin. and i notice the complete lack of shadows.
compliments for the grass sprite, it's awesome.

It's looking not bad, considered your previous work. I like the shader effect too, it's a bit too slimy perhaps, but if you make the area a swamp like suggested by someone else, it would fit. I'd try to keep it in,

Cheers

the ground is a terrain.. is it possible to cast shadows on a terrain..ive never known. but ill give the shadows a shovel to the face. and hope that it adds to the realism.

36FPS, with only that on screen is terrible.
What about characters, scripts, etc.
You must remember any thing you add will end up using more of the computer hardware, and lower the FPS.

you have to compromise, a playable game for less grass... or find a better way to do the grass.

For what you have there, i think around 80+FPS should be good..

what does 868 grass models mean? is there really 868 individual grass models there??!

sorry for the noobish question, but I'm eager to learn about these things.
