My mutant ogre models in action: guard actions , some with normal map (nm came from the skin filtered not from detailed models) some without.

Much steps to do: better skinning , better animatios , melee combat .. but I think that I have understood the way to go.

Hello,
they are quite nice, but as you said, there are a lot steps to do.
i would be interested in the polygon count, since this says much about he quality of a model (in my opinion).

Thanks to the answer..the count is quite high , the next will be aroud 3000 with a more complex skeleton.
They can move the jaw and now have a death animation.

Since I don't know Cscript ( have no time for learning) , I still have to organize the frames : the sequence is right but it looks that the damn things don't move in the proper manner, then a meelee combat ( they try to ripped me with the claws and I shoot at them) and a gibs explosion ( think Quake , Kingpin).

That doesn't look like MED to me. Probably something like 3DS MAX.

Code:
void main()
{
    cout << "I am MrCode,";
    cout << "hear me roar!";
    system("PAUSE");
}

interesting... I think it will help if you take a look at professionel models and animations. For the first steps indeed nice.

It is Hexagon 2; not Max .. I purchased it when Daz was selling it with a big discount.
At 30 bucks was a good bargain.
The head model is around 1500 poly.
