English: Everybody know the problem, I think:
If you start your Game an you take screenshots.
And if you start yout Game again and take screenshots
again, then the old screenshots are overwrite.Here is the
solution:

Deutsch: Ich denke alle kennen das problem.Wenn man in seinem
Spiel ein screenshot macht und das spiel nochmal startet
und dann nochmal screenshots macht dann werden die alten
überschrieben.Hier ist die Lösung:

Let me recapulate once, so your program is ment for the reason, if you take a screenshot, it will save the screen into the game folder. And if you restart the game and take another screenshot, it normally should get saved in the same game folder but with another name so it doesn't get overwrited right ??
But I think your program saves each screenie with the same filename so it get's overwrited everytime I think the problem lies in the fact the variable "snumber" is always being linked with 0 everytime.
Just to let you know

Cheers

I think the best solution is to name it with the date (sys_day, sys_month, sys_year).

oh i have sth. forgotten in the script.
Here the new Screenshot.wdl:

Code:

var snumber;
var_nsave filehandle;

function screenshot()
{
file_for_screen("shot.jpg",snumber);
snumber += 1;
}

on_F5 = screenshot();

function start_screen()
{
filehandle = file_open_read("screen.txt");
snumber = file_var_read(filehandle);
file_close(filehandle);
while(1)
{
if(key_esc == 1)
{
filehandle = file_open_write("screen.txt");
file_var_write(filehandle,snumber);
file_close(filehandle);
}
wait(1);
}
}
