I am deforming a spherical model but the model is not being rendered correctly.
I tried to deform a similar model in a simple C# app using directX and I got the result that I expected.
The blue sphere in the picture is what is created by 3dgs and the orange sphere is the result of a quick directX app.

The effects of the lighting indicate that the normals are being updated but it seems that the z-buffer is not working correctly.

Any ideas or suggestions?

In MED, goto to "faces/triangle" mode. Then select your entire model [select all]. Then invert normals.

I was already using ent_fixnormals. Flipping the normals on the model fixed the problem.

Thanks for the help.
