WEDB can now edit terrains

And it works like a charm.

It would be extremely useful if we could edit the terrain texture(s) in WED, too.
Some kind of a "Multitexturing Terrain Painter". Additional, if you would integrate a native shadow baker in WED that would be wonderful! We could bake the shadows of all entities to the terrain. This would result in a very good workflow.

Thanks in advance!

Edit terrain in WED? Is this an A7 feature? Or beta? I'm unaware of this...

WEDB so I suppose this is from A7 version? Am I right?
But if it's possible to edit terrains I will VOTE too to add some stuff to painting multitextures. And for better performance to use magnet like moving vertex horizontally not only in vertical way (up/down)

Never say never.

All in good time I suppose. The editing feature is in, so now the gravy will seep it's way in over time. Slow cooking is the best (my....that was cheesy... ).

@Tompo: Terrains don't support moving their vertices along the x/y axis.

It's the private beta version of WED.

I know the creation of terrain is an MED thing, but since we can now edit it in WED, I think it would more designer friendly to allow creation in WED instead. This would help out with scale issues and eliminate having to shuffle back and forth between two programs. I could just create my terrain right there in my level instead of approximating a base terrain and then screwing around with it in WED until it was right. This would save time.

I also would like to recommend some kind of street creation utility as part of the terrain feature like what oliver2s is doing with IceX 2.2.
