i taught myself how to draw in 3d with the red and blue glasses when i was in the 8th grade, so i know you can manipulate a picture to create the effect for the backgrounds. so, there has to be a way to do it with the model skins, right? i would like to try with a effect like a toon shader, but instead of the outline being black, can you make it red and blue, and offset it? like i said, i know it works for 2-d pictures, i can hand draw a picture and make it 3-d. what do you guys think?

ok, it's possible then, right?

Sylex is a plugin for using PostProcessing effects in Commercial (and pro if you wanted too)... It's a very nice tool. I've used it in many projects. However, [someone asked me this recently] I don't know where to get it. I downloaded it a while ago from a demo on the forums [somehwere]. I know bloodline recompiled it with the source available at Fun-Byte media. If nobody finds it, then I'll just put together the files I have [along with the english version of the manual]...

ineteresting idea... make two cameras showing in one view with 50% alpha each, and place it a bit on the left and right... I have no idea how it'll be working about red and blue... you need some shader becaouse the idea is to "paint" edges with blue on the right and red on the left of every shape. Then if you have glasses... left eye can't see blue color (blue glasses) and vice versa... so you have illusion of 3D... or something like this it works

how about using a stereoscopic monitor i'm sure it would have a built in function to render two different screens on one, to different eyes. i don't know much about them, but when i was visiting rellies in south africa, stereoscopic tvs were all over the place... it had cycled a bunch of 3D ads over and over, including one for sports illustrated swimsuit... everything sorta "pops out" at you without weird colour effects julz
