HI,

Does anyone know or have experience importing Bryce or Poser objects and materials into Game Studio? I am able to bring in Bryce objects (version 6 will save them out as a mesh in 3ds and obj formats) and Poser people (which can be saved as obj files) into the Model Editor, but I can't bring in the materials that Bryce or Poser can give to them. I am not sure it even can be done. The best I could thik of was to take a picture of the bryce or poser objects as a render in either of those programs, save it as a bmp file and use it as the basis for a skin. But it is a lot of work re-mapping all the vertices to the bmp. I was hoping that importing a Bryce or Poser object could also import the materials.

Also, does GameStudio support reflective textures or reflective skins for models? Bryce has some great materials, with reflective characteristics. I suspect that this requires a rnedering engine since lighting can change constantly.

I am able to make a type of "glass" skin for models (baiscally, I just reduce the alpha level in the skin).

Thanks!
