really a horrible preview movie on your website , the skies themselves look good , but the movie should show how they look , for instance roating the camera aroudn to show the horizon instead of just zooming into the clouds ?

Looking good, but currently i don't need 'em. Just an advice - you can make 2 images per sky - background sky and clouds with alphachannel separately, this'll be extremely useful for creating dynamic skies

after several busy days I created a realtime demo.

It shows what the skies will look like in gs (and with that in any other 3D engine).

I'm still doing some final testing, so I will upload the demo later.

But here is a screenshot directly out of the demo:

@Friendly_Frank: the website should work for you now. Some people had problems with the trailer. I fixed this.

I've uploaded a new version of the demo now (same link, ca. 40mb).

The controls are:

Mouse: look around
1: day
2: night

Also the screenshot is new.

I think this should show, what the skies will look like in a realtime application.
