HI!

How can I import blender files with textures into MED?

I usually export the model from Blender to .3ds and then import it into MED, but the textures are all gone...

I searched the forum but found nothing abuot this...

You must make a plugin for importing blender files wth texture in med
or you load the mdl exporter for blender in the acknex unlimited site.

never mind...i think i need to install python to get the exporter to work...maybe?

i guess for blender 2.44 you need to install python.

they forgot to add some python modules in the blender 2.44 distribution. that's why you need a python installation for my exporter. it shouldn't be necessary with previous or future blender releases.
