Hi

I'm using the awesome Sylex shader for Bloom effects. But whenever Sylex is on and there are particles onscreen, the little panel bitmaps I am using for the health bar go opaque..

the health bars are dds images with an alpha channel, but when i encounter a situation where particles are present, the alpha channel becomes opaque and where it should be clear, it becomes white. If there are no particles present, the correct transparency returns.

The same happens if I use TGA instead of DDS. It only happens when Sylex is turned on.

This is with XP and a NVidia 7900GS on 6.60. Any ideas?

i guess that is the problem with sylex. i found that, too, there is no workaround, at least if you dont know how to change the sylex source code so ithat it works.

hopefully someone comes up by saying hey i did that already and it works great:)

edit: jcl once told me what needs to be fixed, but i lost the email. it was some very basic thing, but since i dont know this c++ stuff i couldnt do anything

I've had the same problem especially when turn sylex on/off repetitively.
