Hi!

I had a couple questions about C-Lite that I hope can be answered.

1) Will C-Lite work with something like DeleD or WorldBuilder?
2) My initial project will require a map editor (in 2D similar to Load Runner) and will create the playable levels in 3d based on the user created maps. Is this possible in C-Lite? (I do plan on developing the map editor myself)
3) Is there a strong future planned for C-Lite even though the main product for Conitec's main product is GameStudio?
4) Has anyone made any small games with it yet?
5) Has anyone come across serious hurdles in game development with C-Lite?
6) I noticed the earth ball demo that comes with C-Lite has no collision detection on the terrain. I found that curious since it's usually standard to include that. Does C-Lite make something like this difficult or could it have been easily added?

Thank you very much for taking the time to read (and possibly answer) my questions. Sorry for so many questions but I am comparing 3D game languages right now.

-Steven

Edited to fix some questions.

No problem - some answers:

1 - if you need a 3D level editor, gamestudio is probably the better choice.
2 - yes
3 - yes
4 - see next forum section and last AUM contest
5 - not that I know
6 - please explain your problems with collision detection.

Thanks for the answers!

I tried out the demos and just noticed the earth ball example had no collision detection on the terrain. I thought that was odd.

I will be going through the tutorials soon to get a feel for C-Lite. I'll probably get a lot of my questions answered then. I just wanted make sure before I spent and time learning it that it'll do what I need (in the end.)

Thanks!
-Steven
