Hello folks...

I need to change many models, panels and textures during my game. So I need to manage the memory very well. I'm using level_free, bmap_purge, ent_purge, ent_remove... So, everything that 3DGS lets me do to save memory.
When I see the statistics panel, everything looks ok... But when I use Ctrl+Alt+Del to see my RAM, it never stops growing.

Can I believe the statistics panel? Does the memory just keeps a cache, and I just need to control the max memory used at the same time...

thank you..

Its pretty reliable and if you have memory usuage climbing, its far more likely to be a loop creating multiple instances of itself based, on my own experiences (the stastitics panel should actually show this)

Ok...
I'm using ent_morph too, Could be this? When I use this method I purge its texture before with ent_purge...

Please, tell me more about "creating multiple instances of itself based"...

how about purging it afterwards? i'm not quite sure ent_purge works with the entity still visible.

One way to see this is in the ms/frame column and fnc - time for script execution and check if the value is increasing at runtime without stopping

I saw fnc - time.. it wasn't higher than "0.3"...
But, I didn't understand what you mean...

I mean if that value was increasing at runtime, probably was a loop problem like a loop inside another loop, or a function with a loop called inside another loop, until the engine (usually) give an error.

It seems its not the case thought.
