Just for a laugh, grass fever has hit the techtest map!

Got this running at about 55-60 FPS

Nice!
is it possible to trace from the grass position to the camera to check if the model is necessary or not that way you may can allow more grass....

Yep, the grass is removed when it is a certain distance away from the camera.

Nice stuff.

I think Heelx is right though, you need to think hard about how users can apply it easily.

I will definitely be buying a copy

No need to buy it, its free

That looks real nice so far, that's very kind of you to give it away for free.

A quick question, would the grass adjust itself to the cameras field of view, an example would be if I zoomed into an area with grass with a sniper rifle, would the grass appear there?

I assume you can use your own grass sprite, right? Because some may not want the grass to be so tall, .

Looks really good so far.

Code:
void main()
{
    cout << "I am MrCode,";
    cout << "hear me roar!";
    system("PAUSE");
}

At it's current alpha state, this hasn't been implemented yet. But I will see what I can do

Yep, you can even use a sprite if you wanted.
Thanks for your feedback guys.
