funny...

the water shader from steempipe.. all versions, including the one in the massive shader collection, even the compiled version...

they dont work. i just get a white flat surface. how come? all other shaders work perfectly?

maybe my graphics cardß
i dont know..

If you're talking about the fixed function effect, then what a coincidence... The same on my computer... Did I mention, there is a GeForce 7800 GT running in my System...

Not sure which card they were using, but I was having some trouble with "a" watershader at school (my engineering class has nicer computers). The water appeared.... wrong, lol. I wasn't getting a flat-white surface, it was just very pixelated, as if the normalmap for the water surface was scaled VERY SMALL. Pixels of random blue & white. It supports at least PS2.0 though, because my NM shader worked fine...

and im using XP...

as said, all other shaders work, with my PS 3.0 there shoudlnt be a problem..
but.. here comes the funny stuff...

i already had this problem with my old graphics card. geforce5200fx...

and thef un part is, it worked back then untill i installed A6.60!

i changed nothin from the working version. so basically, it worked and then all of a sudden it stopped working.

and i dont know what segmented means-.-

The compiled version works for you? Because I think that it was different for Zeitwerk...

i have the same one (GeForce 7800 GT OC) and i get the shader to run fine...i believe you had to move one vertex down by a few quaints in one of the corners of the terrain, this should fix the problem
