Hey guys, guess you may be interested...
Yesterday, at 00.06 AM i was doing something on PC when i heard a strange loud noise like an helicopter flying nearby, and it didn't stop. Then was everything shaked a little and car alarms started screaming like crazy. The sky turned red. I was kinda scared, you know, first thing comes to mind is a war, or some disaster. I looked out of the window and saw a big fire, near the factory in a couple of kilometers from my house. Then i found out that it was an explosion on a gas pipeline, mass media sais nobody's injured. You can see the photos here. Damn, what if it wasn't just a pipeline, but something like a nuclear plant? Many people including me would have been dead in a couple of seconds. After things like that i am starting to believe in fate

My fate is to be poor, darn it all!

Mind you, your story brings to mind people I know who were about to board a flight to the Antartic but changed their minds for some reason and survived by default, the crash which claimed all aboard the flight some 3 hours later.

My fate is to die...

Anyways, I'm glad nobody was killed. Thats an amazing experience you will never forget (until you get old and forget where the bathroom is )

Another though just came to mind. If you did die, how would we know? If I died, nobody here would know. I'd just disapear from the forums, and maybe oneday someone would ask about me... maybe...

You know we had that firework factory explosion a couple of years ago in the netherlands. Many people died, and when it had been a nuclear plant, everyone would have been dead or contaminated. But what's the point in saying 'what if it were a nuclear plant'? If it were a comet the size of the moon we would all have been dead...

I wouldn't call it fate, I would call it luck .
BTW were lucky a destructive asteroid has not yet hit the earth. We're moving through the shooting gallery of the galaxy, and the average time of an asteroid hit of catastrophic size has past a long time ago...

Now you´re being emo xXxguitar
Funny how people need to know that they will be remembered by others to make their life worth living.

Don't worry, it's a fear-based reaction.

If nothing ever goes wrong for someone, off course he or she wouldn't believe in fate or bad luck or ... evil or the devil. If something dóes go wrong, then sometimes people change their minds about these things as if the events could be related to 'evil', 'bad luck' or whatever frightening thoughts.

Don't forget, that although you've witnessed this, nothing bad happened to you, fortunately.

By the way, I can totally understand why you started thinking about fate, those pictures are absolutely intimidating!! I would definitely have been afraid too in such an occasion,

Cheers
