Hello

I happen to have some problems with the interfaces of my World Editor:

1) Sometimes when there's another activity when the Editor is running (by activity I include moving over mouse to the axis of an object to manipulate it, switch window displays among several programs etc), the screens in the editor suddenly just malfunction like in this link below:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v124/justamatur/terror/problem.jpg
(those two shades of colors are the only ones occuring)
And when I click on any of the troubled windows, it simply returns to normal (grids and all). What may be the cause?

2) I can't seem to find the way to switch the wireframe display in the 3D window to solid, just when I want to see textures, like this:

I once had issues with wireframe display in Model Editor, though it got fixed quickly already, except that the way to fix that problem in World Editor doesn't seem to be similar.

3) Another I just found: I just found out that I cannot choose multiple objects at the same time by holding down Ctrl button on keyboard and selecting separate objects in the Editor, thus my only option of selecting multiple objects to drag the mouse. Is this normal?

Thanks in advance...

Maybe it has something to do with your driver, try downloading the newest driver for your videocard. It could also have something to do with the gxl lib that you use (file -> preferences -> main -> video out).

My case is opposite, in WED sometimes I can select objects by holing ctrl and click one by one, but cannot drag to select objects.

There happens to be two dll files for the program in the computer I'm using:

gxl2dx8a.dll
GxlBase.dll

What are the ones you use?

Also, my problem I showed earlier was from the first dll (gxl2d) for both 2D and 3D views. When I switch to GxlBase, the flashing screen problem is cured, but then I can't see the arrows when I select an object though I can still manipulate the objects in using the displays despite the lack of arrows. For now I may say this cured, but I probably want to get a better dll or other solutions....

Also, I have yet to find out why I can only see wireframe view of my World Editor... Any suggestion?

And the flashing screen problem (my problem 1) also happens in the Model Editor now.... and I can't do the same thing (selecting GxlBase). Any idea for a different cure then?

PS: Oh, where are those dlls stored anyway? If it's in the 3D GameStudio folder in the computer, I guess that's one less problem, since the computer I'm currently using doesn't give me an admin account to directly edit important folders (like Windows)
