Hello

I am looking for a cheap animator software for 3dgs ( <= 300 usd)
No interest for modelling
For the time being I am using Fragmotion and CharacterFX
Anyone using 3d Canvas by Amabilis ?
Is it good ?
It seems more complete than Fragmotion
Any other suggestion ?

thanks in advance

3d canvas is on the market for a while, it's been years when i had a look at it. UI navigation seemed a bit odd, reminded me of truespace, but was more tidy. bone features were impressive already years ago. i'd have a look at the exporter options first, check if x, collada or fbx are available - otherwise it's pretty hard to get anything into 3dgs.

Houdini is very expansive
Messiah supports the.x file only
Also I have read that it is buggy
However it is an intersting tool
Anybody using Messiah with 3dgs 7.0 Pro ?
Mulltiple bones for vertex for example

actually it is, the only issue with it is that it does not follow traditional modeling setups which in my opinion is a good thing.

why blender is not user friendly ? It's most handy than truespace or fragmotion and stuff

After I followed a couple of blender tuts I find that it has a perfectly sane interface. The point is indeed that it's different from traditional modeling software. But it's actually quite easy to use
