;D i tried the game and the only thing i miss is more camera shaking and over all force feedback ^^, and yes ;D.. more enemies, and they should continually respawn ^^
and your amount of fire from the plane gibs don't seem to be FPS independent.. o.o.. :], try look at my gibs from my explosions and take some inspirations from it, those gibs cave a spcified amount indipendet from the FPS, also, they can't leave empty spaces between the smoke particles if the fps gets to low and it moves fast , but if you are using that code, try have more waiting time in between

Then you have not seen the explosions in MY space game! ;D .. or in "KyKling?"! ;].. but should not star to discuss things like that in this thread about this game ^^, actually, it is relay all a matter of personal taste.. :], if you asks me, your explosions looks pretty classic, but the smoke sprites looks pretty good , but you should not constantly burn while crashing before the explosion, I think it looks better if it here end there along the way bursts out flames and smoke.. :], and else there is just smoke.
Btw ^^, what space game is that? any threaded in the showcase?

@gaf: not yet yet. we will post when it's something to see.
of course, our effect needs still some tweaking, and it's not the latest version on the video.
i know that there are very few good explosion scripts out there for a6, and yours is surely one of the best. shame we didn't know about yours, would have saved us some weeks

Cool. love the old type aeroplanes and the damage rate, good challenge for sure but you need to improve control so that mouse can be used too for steering and shooting.

If you like, I have an old (2-3 years)flight combat demo example from Tuscharten (sorry if I mispelled your handle),well I think its from Tuscharten (totally forgotten but it has good examples of spawning and trails and AI and FLYING! But the flying is without AXISr I think or maybe just send you the script?.

thanks for the effort, but currently im back into programming my ragdoll again (for my new project).
So im not gonna continue this anytime soon.

I have a little bit disappointed cos I want to
see how do you handle the infinite terrain, but
the plane just crashed when it cross the edge
of the terrain.

Overall, it looks nice.
