Gabriel,
You say you aren't a good programmer, but your saying you can do Multiplayer code just fine.
Since multiplayer code is tough, I can't imagine how you can be a bad programmer, therefore I can't imagine how you can't use variables to store simple info.
I am not trying to bag on you, but it really seems like you are just alluding to us giving you code.
If you truly have Multiplayer code squared away, but are having trouble with variables. Look up variables in the manual. It's a quick read.

Before this thread turns into a useless argument let me offer this.
I know I *thought" my multiplayer code was squared away, and that I had it all figured out on a handful of occasions. Maybe that's just where he's at now. The first bump. There's more to come dude

ok, let me explain something here, I know how to store variables and stuff like that, it's the fuction of and entity killing another entity, how can I tell that THAT PLAYER INDEED KILLED THE OTHER PLAYER when there are, say for example, 32 players! Is there a fuction? a trace method? you guys totally missed the question here.

When an attacker kills someone immediately have the attacker's action put their name on the kill list. The attacker's action can tell if the target was killed because the "trace" command to shoot the target will automatically set the "you" pointer to the target; immediately (before "you" gets reassigned) check if you.dead==true (or whatever.) Is that what you're asking?

finally someone understands yes, this is what i'm trying to understand. I didn't know if there was something built in or if it had to be scripted seperate or what

In all fairness, until your post just before I answered your question you weren't being very clear about your problem. Nobody could answer your question because you weren't explaining it well.
Whatever. You're welcome.

Hi, Maybe you can give all players (bots) on the server an ID, just like in soldier of fortune 2 everyone has his own ID. So you can do something like this
if playerid1 killed playerid2 then playerid1.kills:=playerid1.kills+1; playerid2.deaths:=playerid2.deaths+1;
Sorry maybe the above thing is real stupid, thats because I dont know the 3dgs language
