Stephen Colbert Officially Announces Run for White House!
After nearly a solid week of dropping hints, Stephen Colbert threw his hat in the ring in the race for president tonight.

First, he made a surprise appearance at his old home, Comedy Central's "The Daily Show," Tuesday night to make an official announcement: He was officially considering a run for president and would announce his decision "some time soon."

Soon arrived about 20 minutes later on his own show, The Colbert Report, when, with balloons falling, he said, 'Yes, I'm doing it!" Then he welcomed CBS political analyst Jeff Greenfield to analyze his impact on the race "in the past three minutes."

Greenfield said it was "astounding."

Will Oprah be next? Do the Republicans or Democrats still have a chance of winning or should they give up immediately ?

It would be funny if Al Gore would say "okey whatever I'll run for president again" hahahaha! He did say that he didn't want to though, right?

Lol, yeah Oprah would definitely have a good chance of winning,

Cheers

Funny stuff, thanks for in the info Marco. And yeah, I'm sure Opera would secure votes, maybe even the Doctor Phil.

I was just talking to my dad on Monday that if ANY third party shows up that is different than the dems and reps, then I'll vote for them. And then, this blessing!

This man wants to run as BOTH dem and rep in South Carolina which is genius so maybe the bullshit from both parties will cancel out!

I mean at least we know up front that he's fake unlike the common candidate that pretends they aren't!

And furthermore the way ther reps and dems are running the gov't right now is such a JOKE that a comedian would do a much better job.

This of course makes "Man of the Year" a campaign movie and may have to be banned in 2008.

I'm voting Colbert.

No Joke.

You should too.

Bill Maher for president!!

So here is his final words in his show on Earth Day.

New Rule: From now on Earth Day really must be a year round thing. And in honor of this Earth Day, starting Monday supermarket clerks must stop putting the big bottle of detergent with a handle on it in a plastic bag. I don't mean to tell you how to do your job, but you see that handle you just lifted the detergent with?

I can use that same handle to carry the detergent to my car. And stop putting my liquor in a smaller paper sack before you put it in the big paper sack with my other stuff. What, are you afraid my groceries will think less of me if they see I've been drinking? Trust me, the broccoli doesn't care, and the condoms already know.

Cheers
