I think its possible, but MP Programming is the most difficult Thing in GS. The MP Code from GS is not the best, ist hard to get a good Connection without lags for 4 Players. Maybe some Plugins like Populace can help. IMO you must learn the Basics and have more experience in C-Script to be able to programm a MP Game. The most "Newbies" want a Game like WoW, because its soooo cool... Ok you "only" want a Deathmatch Shooter, but this isn easy too. Learn C-Script, get Experience then start MP Programming.
