Hello guys :-)

I tried the latest A7 car demo. Is it just me or do you guys also notice some sort of "jerking" effect? If you guys also experience it, does it reflect the stability of A7 physics engine?

Is this a recognized bug? ANd is Newton any better for the meantime should one consider 3DGS/A7 for a car game? Thanks in advance.......

the jerking in the wheels?
then is for use a old ODE version in gamestudio
I don't know why never update to the last release of ode
for can use cilinders in the wheels instead of spheres

can be a realisty racing game if the wheels rotate to all sides

I just finished a racing game with Newton physics. 3DGS ODE is by far much easier to use, but it's not too stable. Newton has very solid physics, but it can be tricky to get it working as you'd like it to...

Actually, it's not with the wheels. It seems to me as if the entire vehicle is warping forward and then warping back. Is this a bug or is somthing wrong with perhaps... my graphics card?

@xXxGuitar: Did you use the default Newton plugin that is available for download or did you make your own integration of the library to 3DGS? Also, what version of the engine did you use? A6 or A7? Can you show us a video or demo? I really hope we can still use 3DGS for our car project. I want to know how feasible 3DGS really is for a semi-realistic car game. Thanks in advance...

PS. I am really hoping it is because I find learning another engine kinda hard. I just love 3DGS that's all. Can't leave it that easily...

...I used the Newton.dll that was released, but used my own c-script around it, using A6.6

I'd like to show a demo, but I'm restricted by the NDA
