I'm looking to make a skydome and it would be great if I could just design my sky in bryce and render it out warped as need be for a spherical textured 360 skydome. I can't use a skycube in my 3d renderer.
If anyone has info on this or a link that would help out a lot.

If I have to I could make a cube first, but I would need a way to convert it to a dome without that really bad distortion.
1- Is there a way to make a skycube with bryce
2- is there a way to convert my current skycubes into skydomes

thanks

Nevermind
HDRshop can convert cubemaps (in vertical cross format) into latlong format that works perfectly for spheres.
I thought I'd just let you know in case anyone else needed the same thing.

Hi,
yes you can make skycubes with bryce.
You need six sides, the camera FOV (field of view) is 112.5 degrees for each side in bryce to render the skycube texture.
I make my skycubes with bryce.
