http://www.e-janco.com/PressRelease/press_release20070907Browser.htm septeber figures: 1 - Microsoft’s IE – 63.86%; 2 - Firefox – 17.40%; 3 – Netscape – 10.21%%; 4 – Google Desktop – 2.38%; 5 – Mozilla – 1.40%. vista user (sept. 07): 5.56% -> vista comes with IE7 i doubt that many xp users have updated their system and the IE. i have seen so many "dau" windows xp systems in the last few years that didn't even have the screen resolution set above 800x600 and such things, so i'd be carful with the 80% guess. so, vista comes wit IE7 (5.56%) and xp wit IE 6, let's say, 15% have updated their system... @ventilator: it's called "imagetoolbar" and can be deactivated, however, this site is only in german... http://www.larskasper.de/webdesign/tips/image-toolbar/
