Hi @ all,

as I'm very interested in GS7, I've downloaded the 30 days free trial.
I've worked throgh some of the tutorials now and everything worked
smooth so far. Now I will try to create a Terrain and just there's my
Problem. The Plugin for the Terrain Texture Creator does not load.
This is the entry in the med.log:

load dll: med_plugins\TerrainTexCreator.dll
'PIInitialize' returned '0'
error loading

I've tried reinstalling GS7 with no success.
I've tried to install GS7 on another PC in my office -> same error.
Is this a known bug in the trial version and is there any bugfix available?
As I thought that the trial-version is exactly the same as the full
version, this bug will stay for me when I buy the comercial-edition??

Huhu,

ich versuche es nochmal auf deutsch ;-).
Hat sonst niemand das Problem, dass gewisse Plugins in MED nicht
geladen werden können?
Ich habe mir das Logfile nochmals genauer angeschaut und es sind
außer dem Terrain Texture Creator auch noch andere Plug-Ins bei
denen ein Fehler auftritt.

Hier mal die konsolidierten Fehlermeldungen:

GS7 wird mit jedem Tutorial immer interessanter für mich und
die Funktionalität zur Terrain-Texturierung ist ein wichtiges
Feature für mich. Sollte es für mein Problem doch noch eine Lösung
geben, dann liegt die GS7-Comercial-version bei mir mit Sicherheit
unterm Weihnachtsbaum ;-))

I've tried the same thing now with the A6-Demo,
same result, MED get's an error while loading the dll.

Ich hab das jetzt mal mit der A6-Demo-Version versucht.
Aber auch da kriegt MED einen Fehler beim laden der
TerrainTexCreator.dll.

Kann mir denn wirklich niemand weiterhelfen?
Oder liegts vielleicht gar nicht an mir? ;-))

Servus, Ich habe das gleiche Prob. früher mit der trial,
und jetzt mit der Extra version auch bei mir ladet es die MeshReducer.dll und
TerrainTexCreator.dll nicht.

Bist nicht der einzige, wenn das ein trost ist.

Das liegt vielleicht daran, dass die Mesh Reducer Funktion nur in der Pro Version und der Terrain Texture Creator ab der Commercial verfügbar ist.
