Hey guys I'm just posting in request of a 3ds max tutorial, I do not want a standard tutorial though I am looking for one that shows you through 3ds max step by step as I just purchased it and have no idea on how to use it.
Thankyou
Just wondering, why didnt you test the Trial before making such a big purchase? I mean, when i tried Max vs. Maya, im glad they had trials, i would never wanna go through the pain using Max ever again... (though i do own a copy, student license, from school, maybe that's what you got as well...) dont mean to be rude or anything, just wondering...
regards,

go to www.poopinmymouth.com (no, its not a fake url ...) and check the "low poly modeling series" video tutorials on the bottom left side of the tutorials section. Best max tutorials ever
Do not underestimate people because they have a low post count... :0

never used that site for tuts before lol, however there are a shedload of tuts for max on the net, plus it ships with a fair few tuts as well. i have found max to have a very user friendly ui and it is a simple thing to learn to use. i thought myself on max and still use max 5, (can`t afford to upgrade) i`d tell you to persevere man, max is one of the best modeling apps to be had.

Your first posts said, that you "just purchased" max. And later you say that you are "testing the demo".
This sounds suspicous to be honest.
And if you really check Max or want to buy it then you can always ask in their forums or read the tutorials at their website.
At least Lightwave3d (the software I bought) offers dozens of tutorials right at the company site (newtek) in forms of videos, html-pages or pdf-documents and there are tons of forums available. And besides that there are very good and professional books about Lightwave.
Even Blender has books and tutorials available. I own a book about Blender and I would recommend Blender over a warez or demo version of a 5,000 $ software.

Sorry for miss-informing you all by saying I purchased it then saying I only have demo, I meant purchased as demo sorry I say it for most products it's a habit. No need for help now I have come accross some nice video tutorials that have helped me alot. You can view these at www.iwannamap.com (for anyone else needing tutorials on 3DS Max or XSI) Cheers
