the barrel explosion is pretty cool.
Also the underwater sequence with the barrels falling in.

I think everything looks good except for the explosion, which seems rather odd to me. But the rest is indeed nice.

I can't believe realtime rendering is so far either, I found this movie on youtube:
http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=VaHS-y_mapQ

I think it's less big than the barrel demo, yet if you watch the first seconds, it's going really slow. He says that his video framerates are NOT realtime:
Quote:

THESE ARE NOT IN GAME FRAMERATES!

I'm having my doubts now whether that barrel video is realtime or not. But I could be horribly wrong of course .

Either way that youtube boxvideo is a nice watch as well .

EDIT:
Lmao, busted:

Other Mass Physics Videos:

...

"3,000 Barrel Explosion" - sampling666:
A follow up to his "500 barrel explosion" video, yet this also shows clips of some well built structures collapsing and flying apart and are the main part of the video.

So it's not truly realtime framerate .

Dont check the videos..Just play this mind blowing game...never has been
a game so realistically immersive !

I like good 'views' because they have no 'strings' attached..

Lol, not that I didn't think the same thing at first, but for a game that lots of people have trouble with getting to run at acceptable speeds, wouldn't it raise a few eyebrows making you instantly questioning the 'realtime'-ness of this all?

If 500 barrels barely run in realtime, clearly 3000 won't.

Cheers
