Hi, I made a human model, but I don't think I am able to skin it, so I was wondering maybe someone can do it for me? Keep in mind, I am a programmer and this is, quite literally, my first attempt at modeling. I use Wings3D.

A link to the .mdl model:

A link to the .3ds model:

(THE .3DS MODEL COULD BE SMALL, SO IF IT IS, PLEASE SCALE IT)

About the skin:
You can use ANY skin you desire, as long as it is very easy for me to change it later. So basically, I don't need a cool skin, I just need a good layout for it, because I can't do that. Please use separate skins for hands, torso, head, arms, legs, feet.

PS - You can also use this model for whatever you want, but I don't think it is that good... But who knows. The model also has bones, but no animation.

well its named low poly, but it is far from it, you may want to look into turning this into a normal map for a much lower res model, as far as texturing goes, i might do it eventually but right now im very booked.

It is called low-poly by mistake ^^ Yes, I have plans of making a normal map, but first I need a skin

First you need a decent highpoly one, create afterwards to it a lowpolymesh according to be deformeable and then you bake the normalmap on the lowpoly and then you only start texturing/skinning..... you dont need a skin first.

You can skin a model in Wings3D?? I know I can create a UV map, but that still leaves the texturing - that's hard! ^^
Also, can someone explain the normal map baking in a bit more detail? Seeing as these are my first steps in modeling, this is still pretty confusing...
