It will be hard to sell a single model except it is of superior quality or you make custom work for a client.

That is the reason why you find mainly model packs out there with more than one model for sale. To be honest about our experiences at Dexsoft: not only model packs sell good, many customers even love bundles created of many model packs.

They want to make games and want to get (almost) complete set of artworks to start realizing their dreams.

Just a side-note: If you only want to ask a question then the showcase forum is not the right place for that.

If you don´t have to showcase something, post in another forumsection.
I would never buy an untextured and not animated charactermodel. I would always want it to be complete. The polycount shouldn´t matter for the price as long as it fits to the camera and they are all needed to make it look good.
Other than that, decide yourself what you want to get for it. How much time did you spent for different things? If you are fast at modelling by offering a great quality and it is the same for texturing and animating you can calculate with a higher price per hour. Depending on your further plans for the model you should now go down a cuple of percents and then you have a final price.
Or just look your way through the internet for similar models and their prices.
But anyhow it is completly up to you.

If I had to sell models and no idea how much they are worth I would take a look at the shops of other (comparable) model designers to get an idea of the price ranges.

Thats what interested parties do if they'r looking for game content.

Like Machinery_Frank already said bundles are more useful than single models, because a game has to fit in level- and character desing. Otherwise games will look like patchwork.

Hi,
Best is to check out collections for sale and go from there.
Here is a link to individual models for sale: Realmcrafter
This site is selling textured and animated models in many formats from $20 to $40 dollars. I downloaded one and was able to import textures and animations into med with a bit of work. For 3dgs users, models in native 3DGS code is a plus, of course.
Regards,

Jim

May i have an input, since i think i know the model your thinking of?

I dont think in its current condition, if the buyer saw the wire frame, that anyone would buy it. mostly because the model itself is set up in a very non-compatible build, you have several polygons with more than 4 vertices, which cause lighting error, and wholes in the mesh when exported. While trying to texture it, i had to rebuild the knees, part of the face, and do some work to the feet, so that it looks identical but exports properly.

Other than that, without a texture and an animation this character wont sell at all.

Without animation , with a texture this model might sell a couple of copies... maybe.

With animation, with a texture, and maybe with a normal map, this character has a chance to do ok.

With all of that, and putting it in a bundle with related other monsters, this model would sell great if the mesh was fixed and proper in all of the models.

for good price ideas, check out http://www.reigniv.com/vstudio/

vincent is well known to be a good modeler animator and texturer around here and these are his prices. if you can find some custom clients you get paid much better.
