I've put a hat on my player entity like this:

vec_for_vertex(my.X,player,325);
vec_set(my.pan,you.pan); // set pan to owner's pan

but if the player jumps the hat starts getting left behind is
there anything I can do?

Making sure the hat is placed AFTER the player was moved.

Look up "proc_late" in the manual.

Also, it can't hurt to be reminded to make the hat passable. Uhm, at least, I think thats what you want.


Perhaps this post will get me points for originality at least.

Check out Dungeon Deities! It's amazing and will make you happy, successful and almost certainly more attractive! It might be true!
