Hey, has any one ever played Tony Hawk's Proving Ground? Well if you have, do you know were i can get a shader like that, i don't even know how to start writing shaders myself. If you don't know what i am talking about, the shader they use makes the game world look so much more realistic. It's pretty hard to explain. Thanks in advance.

Shadow969 is trying to say: Show us a screenshot about the thing you are talking about.

Yeah, right next to the "create uber-game" button. You should really have a look at the manual. It's all explained in detail there and will help you create a stunning game

Okay forget the Tony Hawk's Proving Ground idea. Since i am a noob, i am not sure about the whole shader thing so can any one give me any screen shots on what shaders, mixed or not, give the best real life quality? thanks in advance. BTW, don't get mad or angry with me because i have never used shaders in the past, so i don't even know how to use them.

P.S. DON'T BE A SMART A$$

The smart @$$-ness of the 3DGS community is well known... It's just something you have to overlook. We have hundreds of members...

(although, hardly any of those smart @$$es even have a project worthy of showing... They just prefer to make fun of the noobs)

Tony Hawk's game was made by some pro's... Real pros... It takes a lot of work to produce such quailty. Game quality is not just a simple shader, it still takes work. Although, a single shader can turn ugly, flat water... into something realistic. :-)

But still... each object has to be created, and put together... and then the code tells it what to do...

Where to start? 3DGS is a tool to make games... The content, still has to be constructed. Start by reading teh "GameStudio Introduction" in the manual. It will briefly explain everything about MED, WED, and SED.
