USA BASS Sales hit 48,248 12-31-03

Hi Guys,

USA Bass sales hit 48,258 - Actual sales were Actual Sales 51,676 minus returns of 3476.

So I missed the 50,000 units sold through mark. Hopefully I will break it this quarter.

My other game Veggie Tales Creativity City has sold through 34,619 units.

Totals sales for my two games I did last year is 82,877.

Not bad for this ole Indie Hippie.

Great to see Bass going well.
Is Vegetales done in 3dgs too?
Also, being a late starter in the prof game arena, is it possible to get a quick rundown on what other software was used and no. of people on job etc. (This might be classified info, but it helps me get a feel for the task).
I'm particularly interested in the use of 3rd party modelers - seeing what people are using and how it goes with 3dgs.

Veggies was done in C / C++ and I used GDI Plus from Microsoft for my 2D graphics interface. I really like GDI Plus its very powerful, free, and works well. Lesha, Ran Man, and Dan Silverman helped do some Alpha and Beta testing of the Veggie Title.

Interview Away, were yuo waiting on me? Sorry if I dropped the ball. I have been working hard to set up a new publishing company, and when I am not working on that I have been in DC working on Homeland Security code.

I took a big front end (Advance) its working out to a little more than a $1.00 per title. I prefer getting paid up front and not waiting for a possible backend in sales.

Hi Ken. I decided to go out and support you by picking up a copy of USA BASS
at Walmart for 10 bucks. I caught my first big fish, 7.7 lbs here:

You are an experienced programmer you should have fixed them before releasing IMHO .. the picture below shows the clipping issues...
