Yes, its true - we're moving Rebel Planet: Orion project to Torque. However, the trailer is all 3DGS so I hope it can be used to encourage everyone to make the best 3DGS games they can. A6 was perfect for us to get a prototype up and running, but the scope of the game demands an engine that can do large terrains well. A6 is not a bad engine. Just didn't end up right for our particular project.
Also, I have every intention of releasing the A6 code for the game to the community along with a demo so it doesn't go to waste. I need to check with all the art contributors first though to find out what I can and can't include in a demo release. I'll post something in User Contributions when I'm able...
Many of you probably know already too that I've teamed up with AccessPhenomenon and his game (now called Axys Chronicles) really IS the best 3DGS game ever!
(okay... I may be a bit biased - but it really is a fantastic game). So Rebel Planet Creations isn't going anywhere and is still using A6 for games (just not exclusively).
